"FAITH COLLECTION"

"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." - Hebrews 11:1

This collection of paintings was born out of moments of reflection on faith - at time wrestling through the questions, doubts and silence, while at other times resting in the assurance and inexplicable peace that faith brings.

​

For something so unseen, faith sure has a way of permeating every aspect of my life, from my immediate response to circumstances to my prolonged outlook on the "major" pillars of life like my family, community and my health.

 

When I stop to reflect on all the things that have happened in the past couple of years - all the life changes, the ups and downs, the joys, the wrestling, I can see this thread of faith through it all in some way. Messy at times and tough to hold onto but a thread that holds the pieces together nevertheless. A thread that is so subtle yet strong enough to create a coherent story as I look at the way it has knitted my fragmented experiences together into a reflection of His goodness.

I am so grateful for the one who sustains this thread, who upholds my faith even when I cannot...
